Toshiba ultrabook the 14-inch U845 Release on next July with 4500 EGP in Egypt

Consumers haven’t been snapping up Ultrabooks, and pricing seems to be a hurdle so far. Intel wants OEMs to get their prices down. OEMs want Intel to help by cutting chip prices, but they know that’s not going to happen (Intel would rather they use plastic casings). It’s up to manufacturers to deliver, then, and Toshiba has done it: the Satellite U845 will sell for $699.

Toshiba had to make a few sacrifices, obviously, but the U845 still looks like it’ll provide plenty of bang for your buck. It’s powered by an Intel Sandy Bridge Core i3 processor rather than a shiny, new Ivy Bridge model. It’s also not packing a capacious SSD, but what sounds like one of Seagate’s Momentus XT hybrid drives — a pairing of 16GB of solid-state storage and 500GB of traditional hard disk. Don’t expect a 1080p display at this price, either. The U845 offers a more run-of-the-mill 1366×768 resolution.

But even with a 14-inch screen, the U845 still manages to squeeze in to Intel’s official Ultrabook category. It weighs less than four pounds and is still quite slim compared to a standard-issue 14-incher. Toshiba has also fitted the U845 with a good assortment of ports: HDMI and VGA outputs, two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0, and RJ45 Ethernet.

It’s also going to be available to buy much sooner than a lot of the Ultrabooks and hybrids on display at Computex. Toshiba has pegged June 24 as the date, which means the U845 will ship with Windows 7 installed — though you’re now inside the window for a low-cost (or possibly free) Windows 8 upgrade.

Hewlett-Packard
Hewlett-Packard is the world’s largest technology company by revenue. Primarily known as a maker of printers, the company is the world’s top maker of PCs.

As the computer industry makes a radical shift to new modes of computing — in the cloud and on tablets and smartphones — H.P., a stalwart of the previous era, has been finding it hard to keep up.

In May 2012, Hewlett-Packard’s chief executive, Meg Whitman, announced that the company would cut 27,000 employees, or 7.7 percent of a global work force of 349,600. H.P. hopes to save as much as $3.5 billion a year from the restructuring, most of which it would put toward cloud-based businesses, like computer security and analysis of large data troves. Ms. Whitman also plans to put money into sales technology for things like fast product quotes, customer tracking and servicing, and bill paying.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Egypt

Samsung Galaxy S3 have begun in Egypt through a retailer known as e3050.com

According to a report from YouMobile the device will officially launch sometime in the middle of June in the Middle East region.

over the world  Samsung expects sales of its flagship Galaxy S3 handsets to reach 10 million in July.
Reuters reports that the announcement was made by JK Shin, head of Samsung's telecommunications business, and sets the Galaxy S3 on the road to being Samsung's biggest selling handset ever.
Continuing on from the success of the Samsung Galaxy S2, the Galaxy S3 was set for greatness early on, after we heard that over 10 million handsets had been pre-ordered and networks reported than it was their most pre-ordered device ever.

Could that be 20 million?

It's not clear if Shin's sales prediction is based only on handsets shipped after the Galaxy S3 officially arrived in stores, and if it is we could be looking at a figure closer to 20 million units sold in total once pre-orders are considered.
The quad-core toting, 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display boasting SamsungGalaxy S3 has taken the battle direct to Apple and its iPhone 4S, and the South Korean firm is keen to get as many S3s in consumer hands as possible before the iPhone 5 is launched later this year.

Shock, higher earnings predicted

Reuters also reports that Samsung expects to see higher earnings for the second quarter of this year, no doubt down to the warm (read: scorching) reception the Galaxy S3 has received.
Shin said; "The overall market condition was challenging due to euro zone issues and tight supply of components ... but (our) second-quarter results will be better than the first quarter."
Samsung's mobile division accounted for 73% of the firm's operating profits in the first quarter of this year, with that percentage likely to increase for the next – which shows just how important the Galaxy S3 and the rest of the handset range is to the South Korean company.
Nokia Oyj is a Finland-based company engaged in telecommunications sector. It has three operating segments: Devices & Services; Location & Commerce, and Nokia Siemens Networks. Devices & Services is responsible for developing and managing the Company’s portfolio of mobile products, as well as designing and developing services, including applications and content. It is divided into two sub-segments: Smart Devices, focusing on smartphones, and Mobile Phones, focusing on mass market feature phones. Location & Commerce focuses on the development of location-based services and local commerce and providing such applications as mobile maps, car navigations systems, and public transport facilities, among others. Nokia Siemens Networks provides a portfolio of mobile fixed and converged network technology, as well as managed services, consultancy and systems integration, deployment and maintenance to operators and service providers. The Company operates a number of subsidiaries worldwide.

As recently as this week, Microsoft revealed that a new version of its software won't run on the existing Lumia range, and a Wall Street analyst said the software giant was looking at making its own phones in direct competition with its new partner.

Over two years, workers at Nokia have become familiar with bad news, but are still not inured to it.
"During my whole time, 15 years and 10 months with Nokia, someone was always saying Nokia will abandon Finland. But it was still a surprise," said Katja Taskinen, who took a buyout offer in an earlier round of cuts this year.

in Egypt, during a press conference for nokia Egypt which took place at the Four Seasons, Mathia Nalappan, Nokia General Manager in North Africa, along with Brad Brockhaug, Nokia Head of Sales of Africa shared with Egyptian media Nokia latest new strategy and future plan. The general manager of the Finnish brand stated “Nokia continues to be committed to the Nokia Egyptian market price and to maintain leadership. We are still keen on having local knowledge and talent in our Egypt office”, Nalappan added. We also will continue to hire directly and indirectly many local talents in our employees, field forces, agencies, distributors, care partners, etc.”

HTC  Mobile

The HTC ChaCha lets you share music, photos, your location and status updates in just one touch via a dedicated Facebook® share button. With integrated Facebook chat, catch-up with your friends whenever you like. With a dedicated QWERTY keyboard featuring well balanced raised keys the HTC ChaCha lets send out your messages superfast.

HTC seems to be making nice on their promise of offering a more simple, yet better line of smartphones. HTC’s Peter Chou mentioned to the Wall Street Journal that they don’t want to destroy their brand image by offering smartphones that can potentially hurt their image. I imagine phones like the HTC Status and ChaCha, and many of their Brew phones fit into that category.

“We insist on using better materials to make better products that offer premium experience,” said Chou. That doesn’t mean all their smartphones will be high-end beasts that can’t be touched (the HTC One V  isn’t quite up to snuff in that regard), but you can expect they won’t be delivering any devices that put shame to Android’s name.
